Camp Nobebosco in Blairstown served as Camp Crystal Lake, with some cast members opting to stay there during filming as opposed to staying in a hotel.

A complete set of eight lobby cards (11x14-inches) in fine/very fine condition sold at auction for $84. Estelle Parsons as Pamela Voorhees? Parsons was originally signed, but the role went to Betsy Palmer instead, who accepted it because she needed a new car. Palmer is only on screen for approximately 13 minutes. Palmer was paid $1,000 a day for ten days' work.
