Rawhide TV Western Show Memorabilia Values

Rawhide ran on television from 1959 to 1966. Eric Fleming stars as trail boss Gil Favor, with Clint Eastwood, Paul Brinegar, Steve Raines, James Murdock, Rocky Shahan, Sheb Wooley and Robert Cabal also in the cast. Valuable Rawhide TV collectibles include Dell and Gold Key comic books, Hartland statues, Lowell board games, Pyro plastic model kits and Carnell gun and holster sets.

CBS-TV's classic western Rawhide aired from 1959 to 1966 producing 217 episodes. Eric Fleming (Gil Favor), Clint Eastwood (Rowdy Yates), Paul Brinegar (Wishbone), Steve Raines (Quince), James Murdock (Mushy) and Rocky Shahan (Joe Scarlet) headed the cast through the years. Carnell Mfg. of Brooklyn, New York, made the official Rawhide gun and holster set in 1959 bearing the Columbia Broadcasting System copyright. One set in near mint condition in its original box sold at auction for $284.62.

Rawhide Game

Lowell Toy produced the official Rawhide Game with Eric Fleming gracing the box in 1960. This one is valued at $75-100 in top condition.

Rawhide Gil Favor Hartland Statue

Hartland Plastics, Inc. of Hartland, Wisconsin, produced the Gil Favor statue in the early 1960s. One example in excellent condition missing its rifle sold at auction for $340.28.

Rawhide Gil Favor Cowpuncher Model Kit

Pyro Plastics produced the Gil Favor Cowpuncher model kit in 1958. An unassembled example still in its original box could sell for over $150.

Rawhide Toy Canteen

Carnell Mfg. produced the Rawhide toy canteen in 1959. Find one still attached to its illustrated card and it could be worth over $50.

Rawhide Dell Four Color #1261 Comic Book

Dell and Gold Key published the official Rawhide comic book line from 1959-64. Dell Four Color #1261 dated December-February 1961 in graded CGC very fine/near mint 9.0 condition sold at auction for $186.42. Original price: 15 cents.

Rawhide, TV Week, September 26, 1964 

Eric Fleming (1925-1966) as Gil Favor graces the cover of the September 26, 1964, issue of TV Week, an Australian television listings magazine. This Down Under publication can sell for over $50. Eric Fleming drowned in South America while making a TV movie.
